About the Product
Q1: What Rockerwave boards do you offer and who are they for?
A: Rockerwave offers a range: Wide Stable (beginners & families), All-Around (versatile everyday use), Touring/Cruising (long-distance performance), Race SUP (competitive speed), and Kids/Junior boards (child-friendly). Each model list includes recommended rider level, weight limits and suggested water types.
Q2: What materials are Rockerwave SUPs made of? Are inflatable SUPs durable?
A: Our inflatable models use multi-layer drop-stitch PVC (often 1.0–1.2mm reinforced layers, depending on model) with reinforced rails and high-grade deck pads. Properly inflated to recommended PSI, they offer excellent rigidity, durability and longevity comparable to many hard boards.
Q3: How do I choose the right board size?
A: Choose by intended use and rider weight:
Wide Stable / All-Around: wider, more buoyancy — ideal for beginners, families, yoga.
Touring: longer and narrower for tracking and distance — ideal for touring/fitness.
Race: longest and narrowest for speed and performance.
Check each product’s size chart and weight capacity; contact us if unsure.
Q4: What accessories come with my board?
A: Most sets include an adjustable paddle, high-pressure pump, repair kit, leash, and backpack. Higher-end Touring and Race packages may include carbon paddles, travel cases and advanced fins.
Q5: How much air pressure should I inflate my SUP to?
A: Follow the model recommendation (commonly 12–18 PSI depending on the series). Touring performance boards often inflate to higher PSI (~15–18 PSI) for greater rigidity. Never exceed the stated maximum.
