Kinetic Buoyancy: Why RockerWave Boards Rise as You Paddle Harder
Static buoyancy (how much you float while standing still) is for beginners. Professional racing is about Kinetic Buoyancy—how the board interacts with the water under load.
1. The Parabolic Rail Transition
Our Pro and Master Series feature a unique parabolic rail shape. As your speed increases, the water pressure under the rails creates dynamic lift, effectively "lightening" the board by up to 5kg in motion.
2. Anti-Pitch Geometry
This lift is concentrated behind the center point, preventing the nose from "diving" or "pitching" in heavy chop. The result is a board that feels like it’s flying over the surface rather than pushing through it.
